What's the rejection rate?
Roughly 60%. Most rejections aren’t about quality — they’re about audience fit. If your readers don’t run cPanel/WHM or sell hosting to clients, HostKit just won’t convert, and we don’t want you wasting placements. We’ll usually refer rejected applicants to programs that fit better.
Can I bid on "HostKit" or "ITX HostKit" as keywords?
No. Trademark bidding is a hard line — first offense voids the commission on the affected conversions, second is removal from the program. We’re stricter about this than most programs because it protects partners who do real work.
When does a recurring commission stop?
When the customer cancels or fails to renew. There’s no expiry on our side — if your referral pays us for 8 years, you get paid for 8 years. If they upgrade plans, your commission rate stays at 30% on the new amount.
Are coupon and deal sites accepted?
Generally no. We don’t issue affiliate-exclusive discount codes, and coupon-aggregator traffic tends to churn fast. There are exceptions — established WordPress-niche deal communities sometimes work — but assume “no” unless your application makes a specific case.
How does payout work for non-US partners?
Wise (formerly TransferWise) covers most countries with low fees and we eat the wire fee. Stripe Connect for many regions. PayPal as a fallback. We don’t pay in crypto. Tax forms (W-9 / W-8BEN) are auto-generated in your dashboard at year-end.
Can my company be the referral, not me personally?
Yes, payouts are made to whoever you invoice as. Most agency partners route through the agency entity for accounting cleanliness.
Is there a tier system or volume bonus?
Officially, no. Same 30% for everyone. Unofficially, partners over 10 conversions/month get co-marketing budget, custom landing pages, and sometimes one-off bonuses we negotiate directly. We’d rather invest in support than bracket you into tiers.
